Cherwell County Council have published the Dorchester Group’s plans for the new village green at Heyford Park.
The green is based around a cricket pitch with four wickets and has been designed with advice from the county council, Sport England and Cherwell Cricket League. It will be the largest open space in Heyford Park occupying the space of the parade ground on the former air base.
The design also incorporates children’s play areas, outdoor fitness equipment and seating to watch the games.
